Bakeries  

You’ll find numerous traditional Greek bakeries scattered across the island, offering many kinds of bread and delicious pastries like Spanakopita (Spinach pie), Tiopita (Cheese pie made from local cheeses), and Portokalopita (Orange cake). These bakeries provide an authentic taste of Leros that you won’t want to miss.

Fruits and Vegetables  

For fresh produce, head to the big store in Lakki or explore additional stores in Platanos and Kamara. You can also find fruits and vegetables in some of the minimarkets and supermarkets around the island, ensuring easy access to fresh ingredients no matter where you are.

Fresh Fish & Meat  

Leros offers a variety of options for seafood and meat lovers. You can find fresh fish early in the morning at Ag. Marina or in the fish shops in Lakki. For meat, visit the butcher shops in Lakki or opt for the fresh meat available in most supermarkets in Lakki, Kamara, and Platanos.

Leros has a good selection of supermarkets, including branches of the biggest chains in Greece and the locally famous family-owned Dimitra supermarket, which offers a unique variety of products and home or boat delivery. You’ll also find several minimarkets in Lakki, Ag. Marina, and Alinda, making grocery shopping convenient wherever you are staying.

Liquor stores & Ice

Visit one of the two main liquor stores in Agia Marina and Lakki to explore a wide selection of wines, beers, and spirits. And if you need to keep your drinks chilled, you can easily purchase ice from the local producer or at most minimarkets, supermarkets, and grocery stores.

Cosmetics can mostly be found in the island’s pharmacy stores, but there are also two dedicated cosmetics shops in Lakki, offering a range of products from basic toiletries to more specialized beauty items. You can find more Greek products in shops in Ag. Marina, Alinda, and in the supermarkets.

Clothing, Shoes, and Accessories  

For clothing, shoes, and accessories, Leros offers a few options. Most clothing shops are concentrated in Ag. Marina, but you’ll also find some in Lakki, Alinda, Platanos, and Pandeli.
