“FRYKTORIAS”
Fryktorias were a communication system used in Ancient Greece. They were towers built on selected mountain peaks, so that one tower could be seen from the next, using smoke or fire signals.
An excerpt from Aeschylus’s “Agamemnon” will be staged by the theatre group of Leros as part of the event. A printed english translation of the excerpt will be available on the venue site.
