The Culture and Information Committee of the Municipality of Leros

World Day Against the Death Penalty.  

The event will feature a talk by Mr. Thanasis Paraponiaris,  

lawyer and legal advisor to the Municipality of Leros,  

on the topic: “The Death Penalty: History, Current Legal Framework, and Theoretical Approaches.”  

A discussion will follow, and the evening will conclude with  

a screening of Giuliano Montaldo’s film “Sacco and Vanzetti.”
