The performance “Silence, the King Hears” by Nikos Kypourgos, following its successful tour in Northern Greece and the Northern Aegean islands, is now traveling to the Dodecanese, with stops in Patmos, Leros, Kos, and Kastellorizo. The tour will take place from April 30 to May 19, 2025, with free entry.
This captivating musical, blending humor, poetic flair, and a subversive spirit, is presented by the Greek National Opera and brings the audience closer to the enchanting world of musical theater. Directed by Thodoris Abatzis, with a libretto by Thomas Moschopoulos in collaboration with the composer Nikos Kypourgos.
The tour will begin in Patmos (April 30 – May 2), continue in Leros (May 5-8), Kos (May 12-14), and will conclude in Kastellorizo (May 17-18).
Additionally, educational workshops and screenings of the recorded performance “Isadora Duck”, based on the eponymous fairy tale by Stella Michaïlidhou, will be offered for the whole family.
