• The 5,000m and 10,000m races are dedicated to the best Leros track athlete of all time, Giannis Virvilis.

• The 3,000m race (U14 and U16 age categories) is dedicated to the memory of the late Physical Education professor and coach, Miltiadis Papantonakis.
