The 20th historical path proposes the visit to the mixed battery PL 227 at Katsouni, a component of the complex naval and antiaircraft defense of Lakki Bay access.
The meeting point is the parking under the eucalypts at beginning of the Merikia beach on Saturday, July 20th at 10am. From there we’ll continue by car or scooter for about 3 km on paved and 0,8 km untarmacked road under discreet conditions. The walking path is about 700 mt and two hours duration. Suitable clothing is required (long pants and – imperatively! – closed shoes).
