IONES Tennis Club was founded in 2014 in Lakki Leros, and it has been a member of the Hellenic Tennis Federation since 2019. The Club uses two outdoor lighted quick courts and a Clubhouse with office and locker restrooms.
IONES Tennis Club is a non-profit organization owned by its 120 Members and runs for the benefit of juniors and seniors athletes of Leros Island.
Since 2018, more than 180 athletes from the age of 5 years old up to 63 years old have been practicing and participating in several districts, national and international tournaments.
A Committee of five members has overall responsibility for the Club, with one Club Manager and four Duty Managers.
The Club prides itself on its friendly and informal casual atmosphere, thus encouraging its members to play tennis as well as socialize.
IONES Tennis Club offers classes for juniors and adults (fun and competitive) and private lessons by three professional coaches. In addition, the club rents the courts for playing for a small cost.
Tennis is Health, Fitness, and Fun.
