DESCRIPTION:CELEBRATION OF THE 78th ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNION OF THE DODECANESE WITH MOTHER GREECE \nThe Municipality of Leros\, in collaboration with the Holy Metropolis\, the Authorities\, and the island’s institutions\, has organized the following program: \n09:45 a.m.\nGathering of delegations\, schools\, and other groups with their banners and flags outside the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Lakki. \n09:50 a.m. \n\nGathering of officials and dignitaries at the Officers’ Club of the Leros Garrison and subsequent transfer to the Cathedral of St. Nicholas.\nHonors will be rendered by the Municipal Philharmonic and the Unified Unit of the Leros Garrison.\n\n10:00 a.m.\nOfficial Doxology at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas. \n10:30 a.m. \n\nTransfer of officials and the public to P. Roussos Square\, where a memorial service will be held at the bust of the fallen hero Nikolaos Roussos\, a pioneer of the Union.\nWreath-laying ceremonies.\nHonors will be rendered by the Municipal Philharmonic and the Unified Unit of the Leros Garrison.\n\n11:00 a.m.\nParade for the 77th Anniversary of the Union of the Dodecanese with Mother Greece at P. Roussos Square.
