As the road climbs\, so does the sense of stepping into another time—one marked by bunkers\, tunnels\, and silent outposts. \nAt the top\, we explore the old air defense center\, including machine-gun nests\, concrete tunnels\, and a military monument that still stands watch over the island. You’ll also see where radar stations and command centers once operated—now quiet\, but still powerful in presence. \nA short walk brings us to the abandoned barracks nearby\, before we continue to the highest point of Aerofono. This is the moment to pause—here\, the 360° view opens up in every direction. The sea\, the islets\, the horizon.
